Client Work: KING DADDY

Client Work is a section dedicated to recent client projects.

Up until recently, I’ve specialized in art, music and design writing, but I’m looking forward to doing more work for brands that promote creativity and unapologetic self expression.

This summer, I had the opportunity to collaborate with my friend Jim at Simply Mean, who has been using his skills in leatherwork and carpentry to build custom furniture and gear for the BDSM community over the past several years. He recently soft launched KING DADDY, a new line of collars and cuffs made by hand in his East Vancouver studio.

I was delighted to write the brand story and product descriptions for KING DADDY’s website. These leather accessories can be worn as a fashion statement but may also have deep personal significance to the wearer, often serving to affirm identities and relationship bonds outside of society’s norms.

Check out the collection over at KING DADDY.
