Welcome to my first letter from my new home city of Montréal. I’m still unpacking (literally and figuratively) the past 3 months or so, during which I’ve moved into two different apartments, performed a trans/non-binary leatherdyke goth clown fairytale at two pride events with my dark angel of the cemetery gates/poet theywife, travelled to London and NYC to hang out in cemeteries, played my first local show in Montreal as Reliquary V, and started an apprenticeship as a body piercer. And yes, I’ve also been writing. For a sneak peek at my next music/poetry hybrid project, a video game titled Chthonic Trip that I’m directing in collaboration with video game developer Daffodil, check out this mini-documentary filmed during my 4DSOUND residency this summer at Vancouver’s Lobe Studio.
